The Maison Ulu estate at golden hour — both villas in one frame.

The whole estate

Two villas. One estate. Twenty guests, undivided.

When you book Maison Ulu in full, the entire hillside is yours — both pools, both kitchens, both wings. Twenty guests, ten suites, room for the milestone trip you've been planning for years.

The case

A single property, sized for a real group.

Most "luxury" villa rentals max out at six bedrooms. The honest reality is that once your group is ten or twelve adults plus children, you end up booking two properties on opposite sides of Uluwatu, and the whole point of being together gets lost in transfers and split timetables.

Maison Ulu solves that. Two villas, one driveway, one estate manager, one shared rhythm. Sleep apart, eat together. Or eat in shifts on two different terraces. The estate gives the group both modes — together when you want to be, apart when you want to be — without anyone needing to drive.

It's the simplest reason to choose us.

The kind of stay this is for

Built for the trip you'll talk about later.

A multi-generational family trip.

Grandparents in the quieter wing of Satu, parents in Dua, children spread between, everyone meeting at the long table. Twenty seats, no awkward overflow.

A milestone celebration.

Birthdays that warrant the gathering, anniversaries, the kind of trip a friend group has been planning since university. Both villas means the late-night crowd and the early-bird crowd don't have to share an alarm.

A wedding party.

Bride's family in Satu, groom's in Dua. Pre-ceremony breakfast on the cliffside terrace, after-party that doesn't keep the kids awake.

A creative or wellness retreat.

Private group, full board, daily reformer Pilates and yoga, breakfasts in silence if you want them. The estate is large enough to hold a programme and small enough to feel like home.

Sample itinerary

What a day here might look like.

Sunrise. A small group on the reformer in Satu's gym; coffee for everyone else on the upstairs terrace. Children, if any, still asleep.

Mid-morning. A surf at Bingin or Padang Padang — fifteen minutes by car. A return to the estate for the ice bath. Breakfast comes out — fruit, eggs, fresh bread, whatever the chef set up the night before.

Lunch. Long table on Satu's main terrace. Twelve seats out, eight more brought in if everyone is back. Wine, salads, something off the grill.

Afternoon. Some at the pool. Some asleep on a lounger. Two or three quietly working. The teenagers find the pool table at Dua.

Sunset. Cocktails on Dua's upper terrace — the front-row seat for the southern Bukit's last light. Drinks then move down to Satu's pool, where dinner is being plated.

Dinner. Long, slow, candlelit. Twenty seats, two courses or six, depending on the night.

Evening. Cinema room for the few who don't want to go to bed. Pool table for the others. A handful of guests already in the spa.

This is the kind of day the estate was designed to allow. We do it well because we built every room around it.
